Rocko is a 5 month old Mix-Breed in Rockville , MD, who needs $2,000 for Blood Transfusion and Surgery.

Little Rocko is such a special addition to our family. We rescued him from a non-profit organization back in mid October, Calle to Casa. He has been a joy since day one. He joined our 2 other kittens Gati and Mango. They became quick friends. He is now a 5 month little fur baby.

On Monday January 6th, out first snow day, Rocko’s left humerus bone of the left leg was accidentally broken. We went to Montgomery Animal center, after X-rays we were referred for surgery. We went to Vererinary Referral Associates. When Rocko went in to surgery his red blood cell count was very low and he was anemic, since then his condition worsened and he needed a blood transfusion.

He is always happy, hungry and always looking for someone to cuddle with. He quickly because the little baby of the whole family. He loves to eat and is very dramatic when he is hungry!

This accident is a big financial hit for our family running into about $10,000, we really need any help we can get. We have had some unexpected financial hits in the past couple of years and this has been a big hit.
