Well Rocky is a English Bulldog from California he is 3 years old. This is his story he was a homeless dog living with a homeless man that beat him and hurt him in so many ways beating him and breaking his lower jaw Rocky was removed from this situation and given to a family that could not care for him somshe posted about giving him away just had to pick him up and the rest is history.

Rocky has been with our family since April of 2023. He was very closed off but always happy. He has become attached to my husband and just recently has come out of his shell to want to snuggle at night not just lay by him self and at 75 lbs of pure muscle has decided he is a lap dog but only for Chris he is so funny gets excited when Chris gets home even before he makes it in the house.

This dog is amazing. He has been threw so much that he still shows love and is always happy. Even through the pain of cancer he is still eating drinking and playing with his dad my husband. He loves Chris and it makes me smile to know that. He is the most loving dog that I have ever met.

Rocky's was found to have bone cancer of the left leg . The Monday after Thanksgiving my husband was devastated Doctor Mike Cocke Augusta Animal Clinic Augusta Ks referred us to KState for small animals which confirmed bone cancer and said amputation would be best for him to be able to save him.

My husband does construction he works hard but times are tough and he has had three jobs not pay or bounce the check. We are barely making enough to pay our bills let alone save Rocky . To save Rocky would mean the world to my husband that is his best friend and Rocky his.
