Rocky is a 7 year old Labrador Retriever in Columbia, SC, who needs $1,000 for Prescription Prednisone.

I have had Rocky since he was 6 weeks old. He is now 7 years old. He is my buddy and we stay alone, just us. We lived in a hotel for about 3 weeks before I got my current place. We have been here 5 years now.

He was diagnosed with lymphoma in December at a place called WagVets in Lexington, South Carolina. He was prescribed medicine to help with the symptoms that caused him to be very hungry and urinate a lot. I would like to take him to another vet with good reviews that I've heard of called CVETS for a second opinion because the current vet made it seem like he was as good as dead.

He loves to play tug of war, getting rubs and being brushed. As soon as he sees me with the brush he gets excited. The kids in my neighborhood love him because he is so friendly even though he is a big boy.

I am currently attending the Unviersity of South Carolina. Once he was diagnosed I couldn't work as much because the medicine made him urinate a lot and extremely hungry. I have used my school refund and income tax to sustain for the last few months, but now I've run out.
