Rocky is a 5 year old Boxer in Elgin, TX, who needs $2,000 for Wound Care, Surgery, and Recovery.

Rocky came into my families life as a pair of two with his brother Danger. The owner planned to give the brothers away to separate families but we saw that they had a strong bond, so we decided to take care of them both. After spending only two years together Rocky lost his brother. Since then Rocky has stablished himself as the backbone and protector of our family.

Rocky loves making friends and unfortunately because of friendliness he was attacked by another dog. Rocky suffered deep wounds to his head and ear. He is currently in Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency hospital needing immediate surgery for his wounds. His recovery will be slow and require multiple visits to the vet to insure a speedy recovery.

Rocky is a loyal family member dedicated to lifting us up in our worst moment. When you first meet him you might get intimated by his size but he will make sure to break a smile on you with his goofy, smart, and big teddy bear energy. He loves to make friends and will never say to a treat or two. He loves to dance and long belly scratches.

My family is currently going through a divorce and I became unemployed but Rocky should not suffer because of our unexpected financial situation. He is a fighter and I know that with the right care he will overcome his injuries. Would love to show him that we do love him.
