My Rocky came into my life 12 years ago. She was the last of her litter to need a home so I drove 2 hours to Quincy to go get her and bring her home. She has been my little shadow ever since. I couldn't imagine my life without her. I thought she was a he at first until the vet told me otherwise, hence the name Rocky, but I kept that name because it suited her. She would bat me with her paws.

Rocky has different sleeping spots but her favorite spot is right in my lap for snuggles. She boops my hand if I stop patting her and she eventually falls asleep there, right in my little nook. She's a one person cat for sure. She hasn't had to live with anyone else but me most of her life. She doesn't interact with anyone really.

She also gets on top of me on my hip before I go to sleep for extra pats and it's adorable. Always by my side if she isn't sleeping. She's very needy but in a good way because I like to be needed. I don't have human babies so she is my child and I am her mom. I wouldn't change that for anything. I love her with everything that I am.

Rocky has Entropion on her right eye. It causes her eyelid to turn inward and her lashes are stuck in her eye, causing pain and discomfort. Once she has the surgery needed, this will ease her pain immensely. She also has dental disease and needs a tooth extracted and a thorough cleaning. Her Vet is Dr. Friedman of Beverly Animal Hospital in Beverly, Massachusetts.

I am disabled and on a fixed income. I cannot afford the bill that these procedures will accumulate. It will mean that Rocky won't be in pain anymore and she can be comfortable and her mommy won't have to worry about her when she sees her eye is closed all the time.
