About this campaign
*A Pathway to Hope*
Rocky spent his whole life crouched in a small crate – 24/7. He came into rescue matted and soaked in his own urine and feces. All his joints are soft and lax, and he walks on part of his legs due to a hyperextension. His legs are bowed, and one foot appears larger. His eyes are different sizes, droopy and almost hidden – likely not fully developed. His vision is questionable.
We don’t know if Rocky’s special needs have anything to do with his horrible start to life, but we do know that his neglect has only exacerbated his condition. Rocky will be visiting an eye specialist, as well as an orthopedist. Rocky is approximately 40 pounds, and looks like a miniature cross between a husky, malamute, and muppet.
Rocky is an amazing soul. Despite the extreme neglect Rocky faced, he is playful, loving and desperately wants to make friends. He doesn’t quite know how to play yet, but he is trying to learn (awkwardly) and is so excited when other dogs will play with him as he clumsily wrestles with his best husky voice.
Our sweet, special needs boy came to Pathway on Sunday, and we need your help to provide him with the advanced medical care he so deserves. Rocky is ridiculously adorable and so deserves this second chance. Thank you for your hope!
