Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to read about ROCKY! We rescued him from a puppy mill in Texas and picked him up in PA at 3 months old. He was neutered at one month and is a timid with other dogs but loves humans like no other! He lives with me, my boyfriend and my 13 year old daughter. I stay at home with him during the day and nursing student by night. He is very loved.

He recently had abdominal surgery 6 weeks ago due to eating paper towels that got stuck in the opening of his stomach. We paid $6500 out of pocket and were not prepared for that. We maxed out his insurance and since I’m not working, can’t afford to take him to the vet right now for a concerning new neck rash. It won’t cost a ton, probably $200-300 for the visit. Every dollar counts.

Rocky is the sweetest silliest boy. He loves so unconditionally and comforts you if he senses you’re stressed or sad. He is so energetic and fun, goofy and also patient when we can’t play. He is respectful to the house and furniture and doesn’t hesitate to protect the pack. He tries to cheer you up with toys and once he realizes he has, he’ll get excited, his personality keeps your spirits up!

I recently left my job as a nurse due to unsafe work environment, which had allowed me to focus on caring for him and my family, and furthering my nursing degree. I emptied my savings for his surgery and have been denied public assistance. He just needs one visit for rash
