Rocky is a 7-year-old Lab/Pitbull Mix in McDonough, GA, who needs $2,000 for Exploratory Laparotomy with Likely Splenectory.

Rocky became a rescue dog when he was six weeks old. I was keeping him for training and he became ill with the porvirus and the owner said she was'nt going to spend money on him so my son and I healed him back to health with the help from the veterian that I took him to. We nursed him at home with IV fluids and medicine. He is in a loving enviornment for the past seven years. Great train dog

He is well trained dog who gives and receives loving and attention daily. He also loves his sister which is a cat named Phebe.Rocky is a friendly dog but will come in a protection mode if he is not familiar with anyone coming into our yard or knock on our door. Me and the family has always felt safe with him being around. He loves children. I have 3 Great Grandchildren he adores and they adore him

Rocky has been therapy for the whole family. I am retired military who suffers with PTSD and he is my companion whom travels with me, takes away my depression, he seems to read the entire family when one of us are having a bad day. He will come and comfort us.He is our soulmate.I could have gotten a therapy dog from the VA but because we had Rocky and he 100% trained in all commands, we're good

This is an emergency.I noticed Rocky's stomach look swoll and it felt tight.I took him to his vet at McDonough Animal Hospital.The doctor took x-rays but could'nt see anything. She had us take him to Woodland Animal Hospital in Locust Grove GA, and the doctor said Rocky is bleeding internally and the ONLY WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE if it is a tumor is surgery that cost $3000-10000.

I have good credit but not good money and if I could get someone to help me pay for Rocky's surgery.Rocky has been our savior for seven years and I would live to be his savior for the second time.He is a great dog and I feel bad I don't have finances to pay full price. Help
