Meet Rocky Meowboa. He isn't even a year old, and yet has already suffered the unimaginable. This precious baby got horribly tangled up in a fishing line, and will now lose his leg.

A lady who routinely feeds the community cats had not seen Rocky Meowboa for several days, which was unusual for him. So, she began searching for him and heard muffled cries coming from underneath her trailer. When she crawled underneath to look, her heart fell out of her chest. She found this precious, helpless baby barely clinging onto life while being suffocated by a fishing line.

Rocky Meowboa's estimated cost is $1,185 which was more than the Good Samaritan could afford so One by One Animal Advocates assumed his medical expenses. In order to help as many injured animals as possible, we rely on the donations of the Waggle community.

The veterinarians at Proctorville Animal Clinic will need to stabilize Rocky Meowboa before he can undergo surgery to have his leg removed. He has already proven he has the will to live, so his name serves as a reminder that this little cat is willing to fight for his life.
