Rocky came into our lives unexpectedly. My daughter’s boyfriend at the time moved out of state and left Rocky behind. What could have been a sad sending became the beginning of a beautiful bond. Rocky became ours and we became his family.

Now at 8 years old, Rocky is hurting. Recently we learned he has serious dental problems and needs a tooth extraction at Crain veterinary center. Dogs are so good at hiding pain, and looking back, we realize our brave boy has been suffering quietly for longer than we knew. Watching him struggle to eat and knowing he’s in pain has been heartbreaking.

Rocky is the heart of our family. He loves playing tug of war with everyone and never misses a chance to sunbathe outside. He’s gentle, loving, and always brings comfort and happiness to our home with his sweet personality and loyal companionship.
