About this campaign
We got Rocky after a full size Doberman passed away due to to bone cancer. We couldn’t be with a dog in our house and got Rocky a few weeks later. Rocky has been a cherished member of our family since he was 8 weeks old, he has filled our lives with joy and unconditional love. He is so young and full of life. It’s so hard that he has to deal with this.
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the challenging news about our beloved dog, Rocky. Rocky, who is only 5 month, has been diagnosed with Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease (LCP). This I s a rare but painful condition that causes hip pain and lameness in dogs. He was diagnosed yesterday by Winslow animal hospital.
Rocky is truly amazing and loving. He is so tiny but thinks he is so big. Rocky is a loving, caring, and compassionate protector who loves to greet everyone with a wagging tail and warm hugs. His playful spirit and affectionate nature have touched everyone who knows him.
We have three girls and it’s just too hard at the moment to come up with $4,000 for Rocky Surgey. Currently we are down to one car because my car needs to have work completed too and I am unable to afford that as well. I am trying to do everything I can to afford the surgery
