About this campaign
Born in Georgia in 2020, my siblings and I were taken to a high kill shelter before an agency from Delaware came to rescue us. I was the runt of the family and the last one to be adopted. In September of 2020, I finally found my forever home which not only changed my life but the lives of my human family.
Rocky has always captured the hearts of everyone he met. He is the sweetest, smartest, most handsome baby in the whole world, with not a mean bone in his body! He’s not only compassionate to big humans, but little humans and all little paws! Everytime we would walk Rocky outside, the neighborhood kids, would scream his name and run. He's brought so much love to all!
A year after we adopted Rocky, we knew he was missing something.. he needed a companion for himself! After a lot of consideration, we adopted our beautiful Bella who would complete our family.
Bella and Rocky instantly connected and have been inseparable since. So inseparable that they started a family of their own which included 15 fur puppies on November 29, 2022.
A few weeks ago, Rocky some how injured his tail. After 10 days (we were sure it would heal itself), we had to take Rocky to the animal hospital to be seen as black markings were starting to grow over the injury. The vet placed Rocky on Gabapentin, antibiotics and then secured his head with a cone. Rocky is due for surgery on 5/12.
My human family still cares for 6 of our 15 puppies which costs at least $20 per day. In addition, I was diagnosed with MS two years ago and am currently going through treatment which makes it rough to pull a second job.
