Roland is a 2-year-old Ragdoll in Port Richey, FL, who needs $1,000 for Bloodwork, ultrasound, cytologies.

I found Roland on Craigslist in July 2019. He was just a tiny little guy, about 8 weeks old. The woman didn’t seem to know much about him but we are guessing his birthday is in may. He is almost 2 years old now. My first cat, klaus, passed away when Roland was still very young. Roland really helped me get through the tragic loss of klaus. He is extremely loving and has brought me so much joy.

My boyfriend and I have no children so our animals are our children. He has other fur baby siblings as well whom he loves very much. He is very sweet and mild mannered. He is a very laid back and loving cat. He has a great deal of affection to give. He always makes me smile and helps me through bad days. He is my furever family member and nothing would ever change that.

My boyfriend and I are on a fixed income and only have one means of transportation between the two of us. I am currently looking for a job third shift so it won’t interfere with his work schedule. It would mean the world to me to find the means to get Roland the help he need

His spleen and liver are enlarged. He received an ultrasound and has radiographic evidence of hepatomegaly and respiratory issues. A cytology was taken but we are awaiting results. There is a possibility it is lymphoma. There is a possibility the cytology will not register any results and he will need further testing.

Ever since he was little he has always been what we call a “bedroom cat” that’s where he chooses to hang out. From the day I brought him home he always stays by my side. He has gained some independence as he grew older but still loves laying in bed with me. He loves laying on pillows above my head. He gets along with everyone and just has a way of making you feel loved.
