About this campaign

Rolo came into our family unexpectedly when a friend could no longer care for him. We already had his twin brother, so when we learned Rolo needed a home, we knew we couldn't let him be surrendered. We agreed to take him in and he fit right in like he was always with us.

Rolo has a fluid-filled mass under his tongue that is preventing him from eating and drinking properly. He has been diagnosed with a sublingual salivary sialocele. Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic estimates his surgery will cost $2,814.57–$3,830.72. Surgery is needed to remove the mass and get him back to eating, drinking, and feeling like himself again.

Rolo is incredibly loving and has a way of making himself part of everything I do. He is determined to find himself a spot on my desk while I work even if that means right on top of the laptop or keyboard. He thinks he knows spreadsheets and must help fix the one he broke because he needed to stand on the keyboard to just stare at me or because he wants headbutts and lovin'.

Rolo’s surgery is an unexpected expense, and we’ve already spent $500 to drain the gland, only for it to refill almost overnight. With the cost of surgery and any additional care he may need afterward, the financial burden is a lot. Any help would mean so much to us.
