Hi. My name is Amanda. I adopted my sweet baby 2 and a half years ago. He was my rock through my pregnancy and has been a solid every since. He lives with me and my partner and my 2 year old son. There's 2 other dogs in the household that are very worried about him. He also has a cat for a best friend named Ruby.

Roman loves me and my partner and my son. He gets anxious when we leave and gets excited when we return. My son loves to give him treats. Roman loves to play with the other animals. He loves to go for walks. He sleeps in our bed every night under the blankets. He has a kennel for when he's feeling off.

What can I say? My partner and I are both out of work because of covid. Our pup is our rock. If the vet clinic had just been able to fix his leg, I probably would've been able to afford it. But because the girl grabbed him, hurt him, and he bit her, it's an extra $430

Roman was excited and playing today, and he jumped off the bed. When he hit the floor, I'm assuming his hind leg landed underneath him wrong, and it snapped at the joint. Arlington Pet Hospital was the closest thing to us open. Upon arrival, the girl grabbed my dog with one hand and pushed his broken leg against her body. When he bit her out of pain, they had to quarantine him for rabies.

Roman is a licker. When we first got him, he walked around all the time just licking everything he walked by. When he wants attention he will wake up and start licking you, anywhere he can touch you. He gets excited and his tongue flops out. He wiggles and squirms and then pounces and licks you to death.
