About this campaign

My dog was a gift from my aunt. He is the love of my life. He's currently in the hospital being treated for smoke inhalation due to a house fire today at my home. He's not doing well. I can't afford his hospital bill. Romie was in his cage at the house, before it caught on fire. I lost everything and Romie had to get rushed to the hospital due to the house fire.

Romie was such a playful little fella. He loved going to the park, taking walks, playing tug of war with his toys, and playing fetch. He loves everyone he meets, he was such a social little guy. My family loves him so much. He also loves to go visit my grandma. He knows exactly where her apartment is because he pulls me around to her apartment on our walks.

I had to quit working because of a health crisis. I suffered chemical burns on both feet. I am currently unemployed and have no income. I suffer from anxiety. I just want my little dog home and well again. I am terrified that I will lose my little baby boy. He's all I have.

Romie is currently on oxygen at the veterinarian hospital. He's on antibiotics and may need on going care until he is better. He can't come home because I don't have the money to get him out. He is currently at Diley Hill Animal Emergency Center. They keep calling for money, stressing me out. I'm already upset but they are not being nice about getting paid.I'm worried that they will stop his care.

Romie is very special to all of us because he is playful and friendly and knows when I'm upset. He loves to share my dinner with me. When I take pictures of him, he knows the flash is bright and he seems to close his eyes.It was so funny when my mom took a picture of him he did just that.We laughed so hard at the photo after it was taken, he had his eyes closed. Romie loved cats too.
