Romy is a 13-year-old Jack Russell in WENTZVILLE, MO, who needs $2,000 for Cushing Disease Monthly Treatments.

Romy was my rescue pup in 2012, she came from a abusive home and was in foster care six months before she was able to be adopted, she’s my girl, it’s just us, she is always by my side, any chair I sit in she’s above my head, all I have to do is reach over my head and I have my lovin, she my baby and I know she loves her mama, we have each other. I’m semi retired and I work 25 hours a week.

Romy loves everyone, she’ll make her rounds when my family visits, but, she always comes over to sit above me, we would go on walks twice a day, she’s blind now out of the blue, we still walk but it’s hard to teach her it’s ok I’m there to be sure she won’t run into anything. She’s scared

She is funny, I’ve never had a pup that laid above my head no matter where I sit, and if the chair has a small back I’ll move to another so she can be above me, just seeing her sweet face everyday makes me smile, I love her so much!

Romy started having a cough and I’d noticed she’d put on weight, she pants heavy at times, and she all the sudden went blind, they believe she has Cushing disease, she had blood work done yesterday and they believe the results are pointing to that plus she has a UTI, I took her to Mid rivers mall Vetco, to Dr Cruz, in St.Charles County

It will mean everything to me to be-able to take care of her, I live paycheck to paycheck and it’s hard to pay like yesterday $350. And today her medication is $68 to take care of the UTI, they want to do more testing which is around &400.then the med she’d be on $100,month
