Roni is a 5-year-old Dachshund Mix in Grove City, OH, who needs $1,200 for a mass removal.

Roni (row-knee) is a rescue dog ( the only way to go). we have been together for about 3 1/2 yrs now. I looked at several dogs at the pound that day and when i saw Roni, the look in his eye, i knew he was the one for me and i couldn't have been more right. He's my best friend. I can not image my life without him now!

It's just Roni and I in the house, he sleeps under the covers next to me in bed. Roni can't be bothered by other dogs, but we go to my moms house (grandma) everyday where she has a cat and they play chasing each other through the house. Ron i seems to get along with everyone and is happy to stop along the way on our walks to allow for pets from the neighbor kids.

I dont have any kind of pet insurance, not sure i could afford it anyway, but this is something that came on suddenly and i have no savings. I don't really know if he is in pain, but seems to want to lay around more than he did before and that makes me sad, that he's not really.

Roni has a mass on his back, as well as one on his back paw that needs to be removed. The mass isn't very big at the moment, but if allowed to get bigger, it could begin to push on his organs. Roni is always waiting at the door, tail wagging when i come home from work and thats the best feeling. Most times Roni would prefers new toys to treats, but when i give him treats, he loves carrots. When we are playing tug of war with his toys, the growling sounds he makes, sounds so vicious and so funny.
