Rooster is a 4-year-old Orange Cat in Saint Charles, IL, who needs $2,000 for Urinary Blockage.

We adopted rooster a month after our other cat Grandpa passed away abruptly from advanced cancer. Rooster was introduced to us via a friend and we fell in love with his goofy personality and one-eyed affectionate headbutts. He’s been the joy of the house and such an important part of our family. He is just such a sweet and loving animal.

Rooster sleeps at our feet most nights, he tends to give headbutts and will stand on his back legs and ask for stretches. He such a high energy goofball, he loves string toys and chasing balls. He loves play fighting with our other cat noodle and they are absolutely the best of friends. He waits for us at the door whenever we leave.

Rooster has one eye and is very clumsy and can be high energy. He loves waiting to playfully attack from around corners and will headbutts you and lay on your chest and ask for scratches. He is almost always purring and just a really happy go lucky goofy guy. I’ve never met another cat like him. I just love him so much.

He’s currently blocked and I have no idea what to do. We’ve called a few places and the quotes are thousands of dollars that I just don’t have and have no way of getting in a timely manner to fight this. He would be the 2nd cat we’ve lost this year and we’ve only had him for 6 months. I can’t lose him.

Simply, my partner and I don’t make a ton of money and we’ve had a plethora of unexpected financial situations the last month and this is just the cherry on top of everything given it’s thousands of dollars we just don’t have.
