Meet Rory, my loyal dog who came into my life by chance three years ago-the moment we locked eyes, I knew she was meant to be mine. Rescued from Bakersfield, she's filled my home with love and she loves her furry siblings. Named after my comfort show *Gilmore Girls*, we escaped an abusive relationship together, and she hasn't left my side since. Now she needs our help.

In January, Rory became stiff, couldn't jump, and wasn't herself. After 15 X-rays, we learned she tore ligaments in both knees (like ACL tears) and needs two TPLO surgeries.
She's had her first and is scheduled for her second with Dr. Kim at Western University
Veterinary Clinical Center.

Rory is an absolute firecracker-an Aries at heart. She's energetic, happy, and goofy, always playing with the cats and running around with her two dog brothers. She loves meeting new people and is a friendly face everywhere she goes. Despite her size, she's the sweetest cuddle bug.
