Rosa is a 9-year-old Labrador Retriever in Palm Coast, FL, who needs $2,000 for Splenectomy.

"Rosa Bean" is my husband's service dog. She has been with us since she was 2 1/2 years old. She was provided to us by Patriot Service Dogs in Florida and she has been a part of our family ever since. She currently lives with myself, my husband Phillip, our two teenage sons Junior and Timmy and our newest addition to our family, baby Ethan. She also lives with her fur baby brother Grizzly.

Rosa is a family lover. She is one of a kind. She is our family "licker" because every time she walks by you she licks you all over showing her affection. She also greets everyone with a smile and a toy in her mouth. She whimpers when you walk through the door as if to say "Hello" to everyone. She is always energetic and she keeps us all on our toes everyday.

Rosa is a zoomies kind of dog. She is always excited to see you no matter what time of day it is. She sleeps with mom and dad at the foot of our bed. She knows over 25 different commands as an ADI Certified dog. She is a great help to my husband as he is a combat veteran. She has been his partner for more than 7 years. They are a wonderful team!

Rosa has been diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma of the spleen and it is bleeding out into her abdomen. She has been seen by Banfield Pet Hospital in Palm Coast, FL and they have determined that her surgery is emergent and needs to be done today! She was fine on Sunday and then all of the sudden she became ill over night.

We are a family of five with a brand new baby and we live on disability. Her surgery is going to cost $7,000 and we only have $1,500 to put towards it. Our Rosa Bean has been with us for a long time and as long as she has her spleen removed she can live a full life.
