About this campaign
Rosco was a random and unexplained blessing. I was in high school and one day after school I came home to this giant blob of a puppy running around in my yard. He was alone with no one else in sight. We spent a while searching for an owner; with no success we decided to take him in as our own. It has been nothing but love ever since.
Rosco is the staple piece that our family never knew we needed. He is the life of the party. He has is sassy side too. The shape he has taken within our family dynamic is something I cannot imagine living without. For me personally he has been a crutch through many difficult circumstances. From the age of 15 to now 25, he has been a part of my life through the such an influential time period.
Rosco is my best friend, my confidant, my beach buddy (our favorite place), late night scary movie pal..my ride or die. The treatments are $7000+. No payments plans are available. Its something I don't have the capacity to provide in the short time it is needed.
Rosco has always been happy and healthy. One day a knot randomly popped up on his forehead and it did not recede. After taking him to his vet, and multiple specialists following, he was diagnosed with an osteosarcoma. It is inoperable and incurable. We are trying to proceed with radiation and chemotherapy at VHS in Cary, NC but it is too expensive with no financing options available.
You always know when Rosco wants something because he is never too shy to let you know. He has this funny way of pawing at you whenever he wants attention. He always approaches you with his booty in your face because that is is favorite scratches. He is an awful workout partner. Beware if you lay on the floor near him because he will be on top of you in seconds. The list goes on...
