3 months ago Rose leaked anal fluid all over the house, bedspread, etc. On 4 separate occasions Dr, Lowey at SouthAmherst Vet emptied her 2 glands which was painful for her&costly for me. This ailment can cause serious emergencies. Dr. Lowy suggested I take her to Integrity Vet.Clinic in Northampton, MA., for surgery. The surgical prep alone is $230,surgery $3000 each gland =$6000.

She calls to me from another room to find out where I am. She loves to be in the same room with me, and sleeps with her paw resting on me, or sometimes she falls asleep purring on my tummy. She is gentle, playful, and loving. When friends visit she insist they say hello to her. When I am ill, (I recently had a shoulder replacement), Rose stays by my side all through the pain I have, comforting me.
