Meet Rose: A Brave Little Kitten With a Big Challenge

Rose is a sweet 5-month-old kitten that was surrendered to The Purr Project rescue with her mom and 5 siblings. While the rest of her family is healthy, Rose has been diagnosed with a 3/6 heart murmur. She’s already had bloodwork done, but now she needs a cardiac workup, including an echocardiogram, to understand what’s going on with her little heart.

This vital care can cost upwards of $2,000—a big expense for this rescue that is dealing with many cases, but one they’re determined to cover so Rose can grow up to be healthy and strong.

Despite her condition, Rose is just like any other kitten—curious, playful, and full of life. She deserves the chance to run, play, and live without health fears hanging over her.
