Rosebud is a 9-year-old Collie mix in Livonia, NY, who needs $1,980 for urgent leg surgery.

Please help us to raise funds for Rosebud's 2nd ACL Surgery. She is very healthy otherwise. Rose, for short, is 9 years old and as of last Summer 2022 she has tore both ACL. The surgery is $4500. We were able to use our credit cards for the first one, but I'm working partime since my double masectomy also in September (what a month!) My son also lives with me, he is a fulltime student.

I'm Rose's mom, Lori, I'm age 61 and she is my best friend. Anyone who meets this dog loves her. She is so well mannered and very active. She loves kids! This summer was sad as she would carry around her toys wondering why nobody would play with her. This injury has really impacted her quality of life. Her first ACL surgery has healed 100%! We are very hopeful to have the second surgery.

As you see from the pictures, she is very family oriented. She is requested at picnics because she loves to play frisbee and is very active and friendly with all children. A water hose is her best play toy. She can catch frisbees, the higher the better. Which may be why this injury occurred, we will be setting rules around the playing after the surgery.

My son and I are financially depleted after her first surgery. I have faith that Rose will get the 2nd surgery with donations from kind friends. This veterinary practice has very knowledgeable people and I trust that the second surgery will go as well as the first. I pray that we get the funds for this next surgery.

Since my breast cancer surgery in September, we have been struggling financially. My family and friends have been helping with food, but this surgery will mean that the quality of Roses life will be normal.
