About this campaign

My daughter and I are blessed to have a wonderful, playful dachshund/min pin mix named Rosie. She is a sweet 7 yr old who adopted when she was around 1 year old, and she is absolutely the sweetest pup you could know. She was rescued from a shelter that was very loud and crowded, and she was the smallest and most scared little one, we immediately knew we wanted to take her home and hearts forever.

We named her Rosie in memory of my mother who passed away from cancer because Mom loved roses and always who tell the grandkids “Stop and smell the roses”.
Our dog Rosie was super smart from the second we got her. At only 1 year old she knew 4 basic commands and her favorite is shake so she can get a treat.

Rosie just smiles with her cute head tilted way and gives me a look that says it all: I did it for you but don’t get too excited—I also wanted to look good and get a treat grandma.
A couple years ago we adopted her 14-year-old shih-tzu named Halley both pups have become best friends. Rosie has been Halley’s protector and guide dog since Halley because she doesn’t see very well anymore.

Rosie has stopped doing all of this and we have gotten a huge estimate on her treatment course. She needs lab work, potentially imaging/radiographs, medications and because of her limb issues that have suddenly started, physical therapy. Rosie is now having trouble with standing and walking. We don’t have the money to find out why Rosie has sudden stopped walking and able to stand on her own.

Over the past few months,I have encountered a series of unexpected and challenging circumstances that have taken a toll on my finances. Despite my best efforts, I have been unable to recover from these setbacks, and it has left me in a state of financial strain & uncertainty.
