About this campaign
Rosie came into my life 9 years ago. I had just graduated college and wasn’t looking for a cat, but she found me anyway. She was just a baby when I found her, and we’ve grown up together. She’s been with my through so many life changes, including getting my second cat and her best friend, Turtle.
Rosie spends a good chunk of her day watching the birds outside the windows. She loves a good sun nap in her favorite chair, following me around the house, and sitting in the kitchen sink begging for someone to turn on the faucet so she can play in it. She loves chasing Turtle around when they get the zoomies, and is a strict enforcer of meal time promptness.
Every morning I wake up to the sound of Rosie sitting in the window above my bed chittering to the birds. She has a strong personality and lots of opinions that she will not keep silent about. Every evening at 6pm she starts calling me from the stairs, reminding me that it is dinner time. You can set your watch to her routine :)
Rosie contracted an upper respiratory infection that required hospitalization on 7/17. She has been making slow, but steady progress towards a full recovery. The staff at the animal hospital has been phenomenal with her treatment while she has been in their care. She has remained feisty, even while weak with sickness
The cost of emergency hospitalization is extremely high, but necessary for Rosie’s recovery. She can and will beat this, it is just a matter of time and, unfortunately, money. I miss little buddy, and so does her best friend Turtle
