About this campaign

Rosie's story is going to break your heart. It's unthinkable how people could have treated this beautiful senior yellow Labrador with such cruelty!

Rosie didn't have a home and wandered the streets. She was starving and scavenging anything she could find to eat. Sadly she ate rocks to fill her belly.

Then people shot at her with a BB gun, and the pellets lodged under her skin.

Someone finally called animal control on Rosie, and she ended up in a shelter. She had Lyme disease, a skin infection, spots on her lungs, and laryngeal paralysis, which made it difficult for Rosie to breathe.

Heartbroken over Rosie, the shelter contacted A Pathway To Hope rescue. They swooped in, brought Rosie to a foster home, and got her immediate medical attention at Eclipse Specialty Emergency Pet Care.

The nonprofit rescue is racing to raise money for Rosie's medical tests and treatment, including extensive bloodwork and diagnostics, an ultrasound, an echocardiogram, and a bronchoscopy.

Amy H. from the rescue says she knows Rosie wants to tell everyone, "I am old, and my body aches, but life these days is so wonderful, thanks to my foster family and rescuers, who saw my old, worn face and just fell in love."

Please give so Rosie can have a second chance!
