Rosie came to us in March from my aunt, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2024. She feared Rosie would miss her too much and asked us to adopt her. We believe choosing Rosie’s future was the last thing she had control over. I brought Rosie to NC, and she now thrives on our 30-acre farm with our other dogs, living a happy, active life.

Since adopting Rosie, we’ve been getting her up to date on vet care. Our vet, Banfield of Wake Forest, NC, discovered she has four cracked teeth that need to be removed, estimating the cost at about $850 per tooth.

Rosie is gentle, loving, and has brought so much joy to our family. She’s great with our grandkids and gets along wonderfully with our other dogs. Her presence reminds us daily of my aunt’s love and the special bond they shared. She’s more than a pet—she’s family.

We’re on a fixed income since my wife’s recent retirement as a teacher, and combined with vet bills for our two other dogs, this expense is overwhelming. Getting Rosie healthy again would lift a huge burden, honor my aunt’s memory, and let us fully enjoy our family time with
