About this campaign

Rosie has spent at least a good portion of her life surviving outside, blending into a colony of forgotten cats who depend on the kindness of strangers to make it through each day. But recently, something changed. Frail, thin, and struggling to breathe through severe congestion, Rosie walked up to the president of Adopt A Cat Foundation… and gently leaned into his hand, almost seeming to ask for h

Despite her fragile appearance, her cloudy eye, and her wheezing breaths, Rosie trusted us enough to be approached and placed into a carrier — as if she knew she finally had a chance to be saved. Now safe in our care, Rosie’s long journey to healing begins.

For the first time in her life, Rosie won’t have to fight for warmth, food, or safety. With proper medical care, nourishment, and love, she will recover — and one day soon, she’ll be ready for adoption and a forever home where she will never have to struggle again. But right now, Rosie needs help.

Her medical care will be extensive, and the costs for diagnostics, treatment, and follow-up appointments add up quickly. Every donation — no matter how small — helps give Rosie the chance to heal, breathe comfortably, and begin the safe, indoor life she deserves.

1/7/26 Update

Thanks to your incredible support, Rosie is truly starting to shine. After receiving her medications and proper nutrition, her transformation has been nothing short of amazing. She has so much more energy now and eagerly seeks out love and attention — leaning into pets, soaking up every bit of affection, and reminding us just how sweet she is.

Most importantly, Rosie no longer looks frail or sickly. Her eyes are brighter, her body is stronger, and her spirit is clearly returning. Every small improvement is a direct result of the care made possible by this community, and we are so grateful to everyone who has helped give Rosie this second chance.

💛 We still need your help.

Rosie’s ongoing medical care, medications, and nutritional support come with continued costs. Please consider donating or sharing her campaign so we can keep her on this healing path and ensure she gets everything she needs to keep thriving. Every contribution — no matter the size — truly makes a difference in Rosie’s life.

1/15/26 Update

Rosie is doing very well and continues to make beautiful progress each day. Her strength has returned, her breathing has improved, and her sweet personality shines brighter than ever. She eagerly seeks affection, enjoys gentle attention, and truly seems to know she is safe now.

Because of how well she’s doing, Rosie will soon be moving to our free-roaming cat room, where she’ll have space to explore, relax, and interact with other cats. Even more exciting—she will officially be available for adoption once she settles in. This is a huge milestone for a cat who once struggled just to survive outdoors.

Rosie’s transformation is only possible because of your generosity. From emergency medical care to ongoing medications, proper nutrition, and monitoring, every step of her recovery has been made possible by this compassionate community.

While Rosie is thriving, her care is still ongoing, and your continued support helps ensure she remains healthy as she prepares for her forever home. Please consider donating or sharing her campaign so we can continue giving Rosie—and cats like her—the care and second chances they deserve.
