About this campaign

Rosie has already beaten so much. When she first walked up from her outdoor colony — frail, congested, with a cloudy eye and struggling to breathe — she gently leaned into the hand of the president of Adopt a Cat Foundation, as if asking for help. And because of you, she received it.

With proper medical care, medication, and good nutrition, Rosie transformed. Her eyes grew brighter. Her body filled out. Her energy returned. She began seeking affection, leaning into pets, and showing us the sweet, loving cat she had always been beneath the illness and exhaustion.

But during her recent veterinary exam, we discovered something concerning. Rosie’s teeth are in very poor condition — likely the result of age and years of neglect while surviving outside. Infected, painful teeth don’t just cause discomfort; they can lead to systemic infections, organ damage, and chronic suffering if left untreated.

Right now, Rosie needs a full dental procedure — and the veterinarian expects multiple extractions. Dental surgery for senior rescue cats is not simple. It requires:

• Pre-operative bloodwork

• Full anesthesia and monitoring

• Dental X-rays

• Extractions of diseased teeth

• Pain medication and antibiotics

• Post-operative care and follow-up

For small rescues, these costs add up quickly — but we cannot allow Rosie to live in silent pain. She has already endured years of hardship. She deserves comfort now. She deserves to eat without pain. She deserves to rest without infection brewing in her mouth. She deserves a healthy, pain-free smile before finding her forever home.

Rosie trusted us once when she walked out of that colony and leaned into a stranger’s hand. Please help us honor that trust again. Donate today to give Rosie the healthy, pain-free future she deserves — and the bright smile to match her beautiful second chance.

5/4/26 Update

We are thrilled to share that Rosie successfully had her dental procedure and has recovered beautifully.

After everything this sweet senior girl endured while surviving outside, she is finally no longer living with the pain and infection that had been hiding in her mouth. Thanks to her dental care, Rosie can now eat comfortably, feel better overall, and continue enjoying the healthy second chance she fought so hard for.

And the best part? Rosie is absolutely thriving. She has graduated to the free-roaming cat room, where she spends her days doing what she loves most — seeking out volunteers and begging for pets every chance she gets. The once frail colony cat who approached us asking for help has blossomed into an affectionate, attention-loving girl who clearly knows she is finally safe.

Because of your generosity, Rosie received the medical care she needed to heal, recover, and move forward into this happy new chapter.

Thank you for helping give Rosie comfort, health, and the loving future she always deserved. Your support truly changed her life.
