About this campaign
We adopted our sweet Roxy a few months ago from San Diego. She lives indoors with me, my fiancé, and our four children, including our newborn. She is fully part of our family and daily routine. The kids named her Roxy and it stuck. We call her our “little baby mamas,” and she gets so excited she zooms around the living room. She is loved deeply and treated like one of our babies every single day.
During a bath, Roxy panicked, jumped from the tub, slipped on wet tile, and injured her right front shoulder. She cried immediately and has had swelling, stiffness, difficulty bearing weight, and decreased appetite since. She is normally very active and playful. Her x-rays were completed by Dr. Utt at Auburn Pet Hospital to evaluate possible fracture, ligament injury, or soft tissue damage.
Roxy is affectionate, playful, and incredibly bonded to our family. She squeezes in behind us on the couch just to cuddle close and follows the kids from room to room. She loves squeaky toys and little footballs, shaking them side to side with determination. She comes running at the sound of a treat bag. She brings constant laughter, comfort, and love into our home, and the kids adore her.
I had a complicated C-section in January and suffered postpartum hemorrhaging due to a blood disorder. I’m not cleared to return to work. My fiancé lost his job after staying home to help care for me and our newborn. We’re struggling financially and can’t afford the costs.
