About this campaign

Hello everyone. My name is Sherida Miller. In the pictures is my dog Roxie. We just got her on June 14th and everyone instantly fell in love with her variety of colors and her energetic personality.

On July 4th Roxie had an accident. We took her a bath and proceeded to blow dry her and she got scared and jumped out of my hands. She broke her right tibia bone in her leg and requires emergency surgery. The cost of the surgery is $4,000. The hospital name is Animal Emergency & Referral Center in Flowood, MS.

Roxie is very special to us and we just hate to see her in pain. She use to have a lot of energy and absolutely adores my nephew. They are the best of friends as seen in the picture. She loves to run, jump, and play outside, but because of her injury Roxie now just sits and lies around crying and looking sad. She isn’t the same Roxie we knew.

Because we don’t have the money upfront they won’t perform the surgery. She has a little under a week before her leg and bone becomes stuck in that position. It would mean the world to us to have our Roxie girl back healthy so she can get back to her happy and energetic self
