I first saw Roxie on a virtual tour of Caddo animal control. I knew that I just had to have her. She was taken in by Lousiana Dog rescue. I have waited two months and finally got to bring her home with me yesterday. Her and my other rescued beagle Sadie were running and playing in the yard when she ran into a clay flower pot and broke her front leg. She requires a $2,000 surgery or amputation of leg

Roxie is the sweetest dog. She is so loving and playful. She loves running and chasing in the yard, and loves playing fetch. I have waited 2 months to bring her home and then this happened. It was a sudden and freak accident. I am looking for help to bring her home and continue to give her a loving home. She deserves the absolute best care.

The break in her leg is right in her growth plate so it is going to require a orthopedic surgeon to do her surgery.

Roxie and her sister love to play chase and run after each other in the yard. They love to see who can out run the other when i throw a ball out into the yard. They will run in circles around each other and then roll around in the grass. It is the absolute sweetest thing. they absolutely love each other.
