Roxie is a 4 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Moultrie, GA, who needs $800 for Antibiotics Intravenously and Hospitalization.

My precious baby’s name is Roxie. She is a four year old Chorkie. We live in South Georgia in an apartment complex. We found her on Facebook marketplace, and immediately fell in love. We kept the name her previous owner gave her. She is our child, and gets spoiled every day just like she should. She is my angel, and keeps me going.

Roxie got sick, and we rushed her to the vet. She was vomiting, and had blood in her stool. Her bloodwork showed she had Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. The vet highly recommended to hospitalize her for a few days to give her antibiotics intravenously. This particular disorder can be fatal if not treated.

Roxie came into my life when I was very clinically depressed. My brother had passed away, and I almost died from Covid one month before I lost him. She keeps me going when I feel like giving up. She is our child, and gets treated that way. She is so funny and playful. She makes us laugh everyday. I couldn’t imagine my life without her. She meets us at the door wagging her tail like crazy.

I am disabled and only get enough to pay our expenses to live such a rent and electricity. This is the only income I have. I would give my baby Roxie my kidney if she needed it. I can’t live without her. This is how much she means to me. She’s the reason I want to wake up.
