Roxxi is a 1.5 year old Toy Bulldog in MOUNT AIRY, MD, who needs $1,000 for Echo Cardiogram and Medication.

About 2 years ago we lost our beloved dog Muggs. We swore we would not get another dog because of the hole he left in our hearts but after seeing pictures of Roxxi (then named Bluey) and the conditions she was living in we knew we had to open our hearts again. So in May 2025 we rescued Roxxi aka Bluey. She has been a handful I must say. She is loving, caring, energetic, rambuctious, and sweet.

We discovered at a previous checkup that Roxxi had a small heart murmur and it would be monitored now I find out the murmur has gotten worse. She will need a heart scan to determine the prognosis. The vet is Banfield Hospital in Frederick, MD. It will be a costly procedure but she cannot have her surgery rescheduled until they determine the problem. This problem has delayed her being spayed.

Roxxi is very attached to me and my son and is very protective of the family. She greets us with her wagging tail whenever we return home and lots of kisses too. She loves to take walks and ride in the car. My son works at Starbucks and she is the Mascot of the store getting a special pup cup each time she visits. Her pointy ears and pink snout make her so adorable to everyone.

Because I am on Disability my income has decreased and therefore it has been a struggle for us. Now this bill will definitely set us back. Roxxi has become a big part of our family and has opened our hearts to love again so it would mean to world to us if you help in any way
