About this campaign
Roxy is a 3 year old maltipoo that has a history of herniated discs. She lives with me and my family at our house next to a park. She is a cuddle bug and loves playing with my other dog and my boyfriend’s two dogs. We try our best to give her the best life possible by feeding them fresh pet food sold at stores or cooking fresh meals ourselves. We bought ramps for use inside our home to help her.
She is super friendly and loving to everyone. My parents always joke that she’s more happy to see them than their own kids are. She loves to cuddle with every single person and run around with the other dogs in the backyard or at the park. She’s a bit lazy and inactive but is always up for a walk..
She’s super silly. When all of the dogs are playing she’ll just follow them and bark at them. It always makes us laugh because she looks so funny following them. Another thing she does that I love is that whenever she goes on her back for tummy rubs she’s always kicking her legs. Every night when we go to bed she crawls under my blanket and little spoons next to me.
Roxy has had a history of herniated discs. Usually it’s treatable with painkillers and anti inflammatory medicine. This time it was much more severe and we noticed she could no longer stand up and hold her own weight due to her back legs being limp. Dr. Parsley told us she has basically lost feeling in her left leg and is also losing it in her right leg.
Unfortunately I’m a college student who works very limited hours. As of right now I’m only making 320 after taxes every 2 weeks. It would mean everything for her to be able to walk again. As of right now she can’t walk or use restroom on her own anymore.
