Roxy is a 12-year-old Yorkie in Camden, NJ, who needs $1,200 for Dental Surgery and blood work.

Roxy came into our lives by mistake. She had been abused to the point where a lot of her teeth are missing and some are completely rotted out and need to be extracted. So, we took her from the owner in hopes of giving her a better life, where she is loved and treated like a family member. She is skinny as a rail because she cannot eat with bad teeth.

She is adapting really well. Especially with our other Yorkie Chief. She is such a sweet dog and is really enjoying the love we give to her. She is being treated like the Queen of the castle, at our place. She is shown love and plenty of affection. She even sleeps, in bed with us. She is a sweet dog who deserves to be loved.

We are both on disability. We only have enough money to survive. We took this dog to give her a much better home. We did not know the extent of her dental problems. All we knew was she was really skinny when we got her. Now we are left with bills that we cannot afford

Roxy has dental problems. As stated above, her teeth are rotting out. The vet at Rothman Animal Hospital said she needs surgery to remove some of her teeth, so the infection does not spread. She also needs blood work and to be groomed. It is getting hot and she is a long haired dog. She was neglected and now we are left picking up the pieces where some idiots neglected her.

Roxy stands on her hind legs and dances. In the week or so that we have owned her she has become a part of the family. She gets along great with other Yorkie Chief. She chases squirrels in the yard and even trys to get up the tree they are in. She is definently part of the family now. She is one of the nicest and sweetest dogs you would ever meet
