Roxy is a 6-year-old Corgi Mix in Easthampton, MA, who needs $2,000 for Cystotomy (bladder).

Roxy was adopted by our family 6 years ago when she was about 6 months old. Her original family was about to welcome it’s 4th child and they just couldn’t handle all of the babies! So we welcomed this fluffy little sausage into our home! She’s always been sort of reserved, I joke that she was raised by cats! But she’s a ball of love, nonetheless! Please help us treat her polypoid cystitis.

Roxy loves other people, especially women, but she’s mistrusting of lots of men and other dogs, usually she likes dogs that are smaller than her though! She is much more motivated to eat her food if she thinks one of the cats is going to get to it first! She’s very polite and reserved for a dog, I blame the cats for training her to be that way.

She always gets excited to see me coming home from the gym or something! She makes me feel like I’m her favorite human which is a pretty nice feeling!

She hates rain and swimming in water…but loves snow! Roxy doesn’t scarf down her food like most dogs, she eats gently☺️

She’s an anxious paw licker and when we tell her to stop licking her paws she puts her head down and deeply SIGHS 😹😹😹

Roxy has been getting treatment from Easthampton animal hospital for her chronic UTIs and bladder infections for about 3 years. About 6 months ago she was referred to the SturbridgeVSC to see an internalist. In the last 18mos she has had a cystotomy, a bladder hydropropulsion , and she now needs another, more involved and costly, cystotomy. Her urine is mostly blood, sometimes even with clots 😢

Although we both work full time (I even have a second job) we don’t have the best credit and I am already in so much debt from Roxy’s previous care. My care credit is maxed out and we could really use your help. She is young n perfectly healthy otherwise, we can’t lose her!
