Roxy is a 4 month old American Pit Bull Terrier in Shelby, NC, who needs $2,000 for Parvo.

I got Roxy as a gift from my husband when she was 9 weeks old for our 2 yr wedding anniversary. I'm not sure who chose her name or how. She was so tiny when we got her that she fit in the palm of my husband's hand. Roxy lives with friends right now as I'm 7 months pregnant on bed rest and unable to give her the proper attention she deserves.

Roxy has been fully healthy until today. My husband went to check on her like he always does at our friend's house and she was lethargic, has bloody stool, not eating or drinking, and completely skin and bone where she was not this way less than 24 hrs ago. We do not have a vet and the one I called that open on a Saturday wants money upfront just to even tell me what may be wrong without testing.

Roxy has 6 toes on one of her back paws. She loves to run and play with her human brother. She's so full of life and loves her blanket and cuddles. She loves sleeping in my arms like a baby.

Sudden unexpected expense. Roxy means the world to us. My son hasn't stopped crying since finding out his fur sister is sick. I can't imagine not having her here to cuddle. It would mean the world to us to have her healthy again
