About this campaign
Royce is a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who has lived with me since he was a young puppy. He was not adopted from a shelter, but was rehomed into my care, and has been raised in a safe, loving, and stable home environment in Germantown, Maryland.

Royce, my 3-year-old ESA, was diagnosed with high-grade large-cell lymphoma in May 2025. He is under the care of Dr. Sara Fritz at Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, MD. He’s currently Stage II, Substage A, and a strong candidate for CHOP chemotherapy, which could extend his life 12–18 months or more.
Royce is incredibly intuitive, gentle, and emotionally in tune with everyone around him. As my emotional support animal, he senses stress and offers comfort without being asked. He’s playful but calm, affectionate but respectful, and wins over even those who are unsure about dogs. He’s more than a pet—he’s family, and he brings peace, joy, and connection into our home every day.
