My name is Marvess & my name is Michele, we are the owners of our beloved Ruby. We’ve been fostering dogs and have our own dogs. Dogs are a big part of our lives, and some of the best companions. Our Ruby came to us not long of the passing of our Tru & Snoop. They tragically lost their lives due to a road accident. Ruby was given to us by a generous friend knowing we were longing for another girl!

We noticed Ruby was losing her vision, she has been stumbling and looking confused at her familiar surroundings. We also noticed her eyes were filled with blood. We took her to the vet and bloodwork was performed, Ruby is suffering from Lyme disease infection. Her stomach is also distended with fluid which is very concerning. We are heartbroken! Seeing her in this condition is hard to imagine.

Ruby lives with her two buddies, Nasir & Umbluto!! They are all bonded and love each other. They all love the river, hikes, long walks, playing ball for hours! She loves her two playmates but can’t interact like she could before her vision loss.

I am on a fixed income and I have tried asking for payment arrangements without any luck. I did apply to care credit and the other credit options but was not approved. So I’m desperately asking for help to get Ruby healthy again.
