Tiny Street Puppy Rudra Needs Big Help

Rudra was just a small puppy, doing his best to survive on the streets. He kept to himself, never bothering anyone, only hoping his next meal would come soon. Then, in a moment of senseless cruelty, everything changed. A local woman was caught beating this innocent dog for no reason other than him being a stray.

While many cases like this go unseen, Rudra’s story is different. A young boy witnessed the abuse, recorded it, and reported it to the police—sharing the video to social media while raising awareness and help seek justice for Rudra and animals like him. After taking care of the police report, help was on the way.

When volunteers from the Stray Animal Foundation of India arrived, Rudra was scared, hiding deep in the bushes. What they found was heartbreaking. His nose was severely injured and bleeding, and parts of his skin were torn and hanging from his face. He needed immediate care.

Rudra was rushed to the rescue’s veterinary clinic, where his wounds were cleaned and carefully stitched. Thankfully, he is now on the path to a full recovery, but his treatment, medication, and hospitalization come at a high cost.
