RUE is a 5-month-old Pit Bull Mix in Saint Louis, MO, who needs $900 for Cardiologist and Spay.

Rue was in a family that could not take care of her. An older gentleman came to my work with her and explained he could not feed her and provide Vet care, I immediately fell in love with her and brought her home.

Rue is so loving and playful -- she is so gentle with my granddaughter and other children as well as with her pet pals (Molly (dog), Tom (cat). My granddaughter named her Rue after her favorite character in Winnie the Pooh. Every morning my granddaughter wakes up with Rue by her bedside waiting patiently for her best friend. Rue is a very playful pup and keeps our hearts warm with love

When Rue wants to play, she will grab one of shoes and drops by our feet-- letting us know "OK, its time to go outside and play with me. She always running after Molly trying to keep with her and when she can't she lays down and barks at Molly to stop (which Molly does). She barks when Tom is under the bed to let Tom know she wants to play. She always greets us at the door.

Rue has had all her shots and has been dewormed and recently took her to get spayed and it was discovered she has a level 2 heart murmur which prevented to be spayed until she has a specialist (Cardiologist) treat her. My vet's name is Karen M. Rooney, DVM
