Rufus is a Miniature Poodle puppy in Milford, PA, who needs $2,000 for Oxygen Therapy.

Rufus is a 4 month puppy we got 2 months ago for our 4 children to enjoy and grow up with and love!! On 11/15/2021 Rufus was attacked by a pitbull and was rushed to Newton Animal Hospital where he is in critial condition suffering from 3 broken ribs, bruised lung, and severely broken leg which will need major surgery if he makes it through the life threatening injuries first!

Our family of 6 added Rufus to our family 2 months ago as a wonderful happy addition! He loves his loud squeaking toys and loves playing with our children running (zooming) around the house so they chase him. He has nothing but love, hugs, and kisses for every person he comes in contact with.

He is a wonderful support animal for our 10 year old daughter with anxiety bringing her comfort and love.

The initial bill for Rufus ‘s medical treatment is at Newton Animal Hospital is $3000-$5000 just for his life threatening injuries to his broken ribs and bruised lung that does not include the surgery to his left rear leg he will need to remain at the animal hospital until he is healthy enough to be transferred to a specialist for leg surgery.

I was laid off for a year and just started back at work a month ago. I have 4 children that love and adore this puppy and I realize owning a pet is an owners responsibility but we are asking and praying for help
