Ru has bladder stones that could block his urethra at any moment. I look him for an x-ray hoping the issue had not come back. Sadly it has and if a stone blocks his urine stream it is fatal.

I am a single mother receiving SSI. Getting by is an act of balancing on a piece of floss. I have zero family other than my daughter and she does everything she is supposed to. Even at a low-income vet, the surgery is 1000$. We also just moved and that hurt financially.
