Our family purchased Ruger when he was only 8 weeks old at just 4 lbs. We all fell in love with him instantly. He is not our pet but a true member of our family. Rug boy is very rambunctious and has no chill but we wouldn’t change him for anything.

We came home from work and let Rug outside to go potty and realized he was holding up his rear leg. We watched him closely and decided to take him to the vet for x-rays. They let us know his hip is popping in and out of location and he needs a surgery called Coxofemoral Luxation that Dr. Gendreau at Veterinary Orthopedic Center wants to do, however the estimate is $3455.00-3705.00.

Our Rug boy loves his 15 year old brother Rockey and loves to harass our cat Selene. He is a real pistol but everyone loves him and my 4 year old daughter would be lost without Rug by her side. She loves to pass out treats to everyone and help feed and give fresh water. We are true animal lovers through and through. We want to do right by Rug but we need help.
