We got Ruger over Memorial Day weekend in 2019. Ruger came into our lives unexpectedly when we were browsing through animals and saw him and immediately had to meet him. When we did he instantly went to my husband and gave him a kiss and in that moment I knew he was hooked. Once we brought him home, I was very glad we did because when we looked him over more he did not weigh more than 5 pounds and was all fur. We got him at 3 months old and his weight concerned me, and once we had him for more than a week he already put on weight and his little personality came out. Ruger was meant to be a service dog for myself, but as it turns out Ruger has been a service dog to our whole family
