Ruger is a 6 year old French Bulldog in Salem, OR, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

We currently live in an apartment with his little sister Timber, who is also a french bulldog. Ruger is the man of the house, protecting us, spoiled with love and affection. My life has revolved around my dogs since the moment they were placed in my arms.

Ruger has an infection that is on the verge of spreading to his brain. We have been fighting this since Jan. Last week he had a surgery to fix the problem only to find out it is much worse than we thought. The infection has spread and dissolved a bone in his ear. A CT shows the infection has spread and is close to brain but not there yet. He now needs a second surgery.

Ruger is the sweetest, purest, old man soul. He had been my best friend since the moment I got him as a puppy. He is the dream first dog anyone could imagine.

I am currently a full time nursing student, and out of work due to schooling demands. I don’t have any source of income at the moment. I do plan to return to work as soon as I finish school in July or sooner.
