Rumble is a 3 year old Pug in Bakersfield, CA, who needs $2,000 for Distal Radius Fracture and Scaphoid Fracture.

We are calling this little guy Rumble. He was rescued w/a female pug and they had both been abandoned on a sweltering 115° day w/no water or shelter. He & his partner were puppy mill dogs that had been abandoned. While the young female who had just given birth seems to be in better shape, poor Rumble suffers from a broken front paw that has been allowed to set awkwardly without treatment or care.

It is not known if Rumble has any other medical disorders at this time, but he is deeply in need of services from the VCA Bakersfield Animal Hospital for significant medical treatment of his injured front leg.

Through all of his mistreatment, Rumble hasn’t let his bad experiences define him. He enjoys cuddles and scratches, and is incredibly loving and gentle, despite the fact that he has no reason to trust us. His personality is upbeat and optimistic. He knows we are here to help and he is choosing to trust us.

Providing Rumble with the opportunity to live out the remainder of his natural
life in comfort, with good treatment, and in a loving home, is the only right and humane thing to do. Unfortunately, we were not financially prepared for this surprise when he arrived.
